Meet the Employment Law team

The Employment Law team is a specialist division within LEAP focused on building software for Employment lawyers. We are a cross-functional team of legal professionals, software engineers, designers, and client-focused specialists. Our work is guided by in-house Employment Lawyers and informed by a client feedback function, ensuring our products reflect real legal practice and evolve with how lawyers work. You will join as the team's new Forms Designer, ensuring output is current, compliant and legally appropriate. You will turn knowledge of the law into a streamlined and automated LEAP experience. You will receive extensive, hands-on training from the Content Manager to learn how to create and maintain our comprehensive library of content, including up-to-date forms and precedents automated from our Matter types.

What You'll Do

Legislation and legal forms change regularly. We rely on up-to-date content and automated forms for our customers. You will apply your passion for Microsoft Word to keep your portfolio of legal forms current with legislation and fully automated for customer use. A structured training program is provided as an entry into the Employment Law team; a passion for technology and 1–2 years of experience in the legal industry are expected.

To make this happen, you will:

* Research forms, legislation, and legal processes relevant to your portfolio to ensure LEAP forms are compliant and updated
* Create, update and deliver high-quality automated legal forms for use by law firms
* Use our automation tools with the latest Microsoft technology to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organization standards
* Review and prioritise feedback from clients and staff to improve the legal forms in your portfolio
* Utilise JavaScript to enhance the functionality and interactivity of forms and precedents (training provided)
* Conduct thorough testing to ensure forms function correctly within the software, validate data entry fields and JavaScript elements, and fix issues
* Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to improve LEAP matter types and legal forms
* Provide assistance and support to other Content staff in similar teams
