Trevilla Engineering & Design Pty Ltd, trading as Lloyds Metal Fabrication, is a well-established Ballarat-based engineering and fabrication business. We deliver high-quality fabrication, installation, and site works across a range of industrial, commercial, and bespoke engineering projects.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator to join our team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role suited to a highly skilled tradesperson with strong workshop and site experience. You will be involved in fabrication, welding, site installation, and shutdown works, delivering projects to a high standard of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabrication and welding of stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
* TIG and MIG welding to a high standard
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
* Site installation and fit-up works
* Working independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines
* Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and housekeeping
Essential Requirements
* Trade qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator
* Minimum 10 years' post-trade experience
* Proven site and installation experience
* Experience using a Brake Presses, Guillotines, Band Saws, Acetylene thermal cutting and Plasma cutting machines.
* Experience welding stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
* Ability to read and interpret detailed fabrication drawings
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail. Ability to work autonomously and in a group
* Current driver's licence
Desirable (but not essential)
* White Card
* Working at heights Certificate
* Working in Confined Spaces Certificate
* Forklift or EWP licence
* HR drivers licence
* Experience working on industrial or commercial projects
