Your new company
A family-run business in the construction industry. They specialise in what they do and have a lot of repeat business. They are a small and friendly team seeking a cover for the current Finance Officer who is going on maternity leave.
Your new role
The finance officer is responsible for using the Jobpac system to assist with the Accounts Function.
Working in a team of 3 other Finance Officers, you will largely be working on Accounts Payable with some Accounts Receivable duties.
This is an initial 8-month maternity leave contract which may be extended or go permanent. It is crucial that you are willing to see out the full contract for this position.
Duties will include:
* Accounts Payable and Receivable
* Intercompany transactions and invoices
* Cash Flow monitoring
* Reconciliations of Bank and Credit Cards
* Any other duties or accounts assistance as required by the business owners
What you'll need to succeed
* Knowledge of Jobpac system is integral - there won't be much time to train, so it is important you know the system.
* Experience in the construction industry would be beneficial.
* Able to complete general Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks and all other duties as outlined
* Extensive experience in a Finance Officer or Accounts Officer position
* Excellent communication skills with the right attitude and work ethic
