We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our dedicated team. This hands-on role is vital to ensuring the performance and reliability of our industrial laundry equipment, supporting essential services across the ACT.
Key Details: 
- Location: Canberra, ACT
- Job Type: Short Term Contract 
- Shifts: Monday to Friday between 6am and 7pm 
- Pay: $59.87
About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial laundry machinery. You'll work closely with operational staff to minimise downtime and ensure a safe, efficient production environment. 
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing reactive and preventative maintenance tasks
- Investigating equipment faults and coordinating repairs
- Conducting inspections and updating maintenance records via the MEX system
- Collaborating with production teams to meet operational needs
- Upholding WHS standards and compliance protocols
What we are looking for:
- A recognised mechanical or electrical trade qualification
- Experience in industrial or laundry machinery maintenance
- A valid Class C Driver's Licence
- Availability for shift work between 6am-7pm, including weekends and public holidays
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical assessment

This role reports to the Maintenance Manager and operates within a small, collaborative team. You'll play a key part in maintaining a safe and effective facility that runs six to seven days a week.
