Project Lawyers Opportunity
Beacon Legal have partnered with a major infrastructure alliance to search for two new Project Lawyers.
The roles offer the opportunity to work across complex procurement and delivery matters within a long-term project led by a consortium of Tier 1 businesses.
As a Project Lawyer, you will be involved in impactful, high-value work that directly shapes major public infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the legal function on the project, driving procurement and delivery legal work.
* Report directly to the Commercial Director, with strong engagement with senior stakeholders across legal and commercial teams.
* Coordinate with the legal functions of joint venture partners and alliance participants.
* Provide legal advice on procurement strategy, project risk allocation, and operational delivery.
* Manage external counsel and contribute to strategic commercial decision-making.
Requirements:
* Admitted as a lawyer in Australia.
* Practising as an infrastructure, major projects or construction lawyer for 6+ or 10+ years, in-house or in private practice.
* Previous experience working in or with project delivery teams highly desirable.
* Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
* Commercially minded, adaptable and comfortable working in complex environments.
* Motivated by working on nationally significant infrastructure developments.
