The Role of an Occupational Therapist
Our team is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our growing NDIS division. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with a dedicated team of 120+ OT professionals to assess and provide intervention for paediatric clients with various diagnoses and disabilities.
* You will be responsible for assessing and providing intervention for clients using a range of assessment tools, including ABC Movement, Beery, DASH, DVTP, Supported Independent Living (SIL) Assessments, Sensory Assessments, Assistive Technology (AT) Assessments, Home Modifications Assessments, Functional Daily Living Skills Assessments, Environmental Risk Assessments, and Skill building and ongoing therapy.
* Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including client homes, schools, and community centers, and will be required to travel to meet clients' needs.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a qualified Occupational Therapist who has:
* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy
* A minimum of 12 months of experience working as an Occupational Therapist
* Registration with AHPRA (or ability to register)
* A driver's license and own vehicle
* The ability to obtain required clearances (NDIS, Working with Children, Police Check)
