Location: Northern suburbs, Perth Engagement: 12-month Fixed Term Contract About the Role: Our client is seeking to engage a Technical Business Analyst to lead application rationalisation within a major acquisition and integration programme. This includes conducting assessments of acquired application portfolios against enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, legal and AI governance standards and driving structured decisions to define the future state of applications. What You’ll Be Doing: Leading the discovery and documentation of application landscapes within acquired businesses Assessing applications using a standard evaluation framework covering technical, operational and governance criteria Producing clear rationalisation recommendations with supporting business and technical rationale Mapping integration dependencies, risks and effort required for migration or decommissioning Working with vendors to support data migration and system consolidation Creating user-facing documentation and transition materials (e.g. intranet pages, quick reference guides) Presenting findings, risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders About You: You are a structured and analytical Technical Business Analyst who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments. You’re confident working across technical and business stakeholders and you’re comfortable making sense of large, fragmented application estates and turning them into clear, actionable insights that drive integration decisions. Must-Have Skills & Experience: Strong background in application portfolio management, rationalisation or M&A integration programmes Ability to assess complex application landscapes and translate findings into clear recommendations Excellent communication skills with experience in presenting to senior stakeholders Experience engaging with third-party vendors, contracts and system transition activities Bonus Points For: Experience with ERP, CRM or document management systems (e.g. Pronto, Salesforce, SharePoint) Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF Exposure to ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow Experience in multinational or ASX-listed environments Background in mining, resources or industrial technology sectors Why Join?
