This is a permanent part-time (0.6FTE) position commencing Term 4, 2025 Yuluma Primary School (PS) is an Independent Public School and caters for 290 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. Our broad range of programs focus on literacy, numeracy, values, and interactive and digital technology. The Role We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Library Officer to support the day-to-day operations of our school library. The successful applicant will ideally have outstanding interpersonal skills to provide library support to our school community, leadership team, and staff. Working in partnership with staff, you will help create a welcoming and vibrant library environment – an inviting learning hub that celebrates rich literature. As a Library Officer you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the library, provision of reference information and maintaining the environment of the school library to support the learning outcomes of students. The Library Officer administers the library systems ensuring library records are up to date and whole school resources are maintained and processed including assisting with whole school stocktake, ensuring resources are always accessible and available to students and staff. The successful applicant will ideally have excellent time management and organisations skills with the capacity to prioritise tasks effectively as well as strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to build positive relationships across students, staff and families.
