The Role:
As a Solar and Battery Accredited Installer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end installation and commissioning of solar PV and battery storage systems. Beyond your technical expertise, you will possess demonstrable management skills that enable you to effectively lead and coordinate on-site teams, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and execute the installation and commissioning of residential and commercial solar PV and battery storage systems, adhering to all relevant Australian standards and regulations.
* Manage on-site teams, including apprentices and labourers, to ensure efficient workflows and compliance with safety protocols.
* Conducted pre-installation site assessments and troubleshoot technical issues.
* Ensure all installations meet Servlec's high-quality standards and deliver exceptional customer satisfaction.
* Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate effectively with clients and the office.
* Willingness to work overtime as required to meet project deadlines.
What We're Looking For:
* Current Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) accreditation for solar and battery installations. (Electricians without an SAA accreditation are welcome to apply, but have to be willing to become accredited)
* Proven experience installing solar/battery systems. (Preferred but not essential)
* Demonstrated management or team leadership skills.
* Valid Australian Electrician's Licence (A-Grade).
* Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards (e.g., AS/NZS 5033, AS/NZS 4777, AS/NZS 3000).
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* A current Australian Driver's Licence.
* Commitment to workplace health and safety.
