Are you passionate about creating breathtaking landscapes? We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and highly motivated Project Manager to join our tight‐knit team and help lead the growth of our Landscape Construction division.
The Role
This pivotal role reports to the Operations Manager and works closely with the tendering team, site supervisors, and operations coordinator. You will play a key role in managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring everything is delivered to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
* Operational Leadership: Provide day‐to‐day leadership of the landscape division, overseeing project delivery, team resourcing, and operational workflows across multiple sites.
* Structure & Process Development: Design and implement robust processes for project coordination, documentation control, WHS and QA compliance, and workforce planning.
* Project Delivery Oversight: Support Project Managers in the planning and execution of works, ensuring milestones are met on time, within budget and to a high standard.
* Team & People Management: Lead, mentor and support site and office‐based staff, including onboarding, recruitment coordination, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
* Client and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for clients and partners, maintaining strong relationships and managing expectations from project inception to completion.
* Procurement & Commercial Control: Oversee procurement, contract administration, and supplier engagement to ensure cost control and alignment with project requirements.
* Strategic Contribution: Work closely with senior leadership to inform business decisions, contribute to growth strategies, and support new business opportunities.
Qualifications, Education, and Experience
* Minimum 5 years' experience in operations, project coordination or management within the landscaping, civil, or construction industry.
* Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and streamline operational delivery.
* Strong knowledge of WHS, QA, procurement, and contract administration.
* Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
* High‐level communication skills and a collaborative working style.
* Proficiency in scheduling, reporting and project documentation tools.
* Formal qualifications in project management, business, construction, or a related discipline.
* Previous experience in setting up or scaling operational processes.
* Familiarity with landscape construction methodologies and supplier networks.
