About the Role
The Mater Hospital Administration team has an opportunity available for an experienced Senior Administration Officer to join the Survivorship team which works in alignment with Mater Cancer Care Centre (MCCC).
The Survivorship clinic is a pilot program that Mater Hospital is running in alignment with our Cancer Care team. The focus is on models of care which can support our patients in their journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing Exceptional Customer Service to patients and clients
* Providing administrative support to clinical and medical staff
* Day-to-day processing and management of referrals, waitlists, appointments, contacting, and customer service for these patients
* Maintaining a high level of discretion and confidentiality, complying with administration and financial policy and procedures
* Providing administrative assistance to other senior staff and others as requested
* Exercising judgment where necessary to solve immediate problems in situations where precedents have not been set and procedures are not defined
About You
* Proven experience working in a team within the Medical/Healthcare profession is desirable
* The ability to balance conflicting demands within tight timeframes
* Able to maintain composure and positivity in times of change
* Demonstrated ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, and strong listening and decision-making skills
* Possess excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
* Have a naturally inquisitive nature and drive to understand processes and systems
* Display strong attention to detail, with the ability to analyze information to identify problems and develop appropriate solutions
