Role Summary:

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will lead the mechanical maintenance team and coordinate contractor and service provider activities to ensure smooth operations. You'll combine strategic planning with hands-on leadership, optimising asset reliability, minimising downtime, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage short- to medium-term maintenance schedules via MEX.
* Coordinate resources, materials, and tooling for efficient task execution.
* Monitor progress, respond to unplanned downtime, and maintain accurate records.
* Oversee external contractors and service providers, ensuring adherence to site safety and quality standards.
* Manage contractor permitting, performance, and communication.
* Provide day-to-day supervision and technical guidance to the mechanical maintenance team.
* Lead by example in safety, quality, and professional standards.
* Mentor team members and support incident investigations and equipment troubleshooting.

Requirements:
* A relevant trade qualification in mechanical or maintenance engineering.
* Proven experience in maintenance planning in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of inventory management and scheduling.
* Leadership experience with a focus on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
* Proficiency with MEX or similar CMMS tools.
* Experience with contractor permitting and external service management.
* Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
