Job Description
* Translate environmental data into functional models and simulations using advanced analytical techniques.
* Build and calibrate carbon allocation models across spatial and ecological strata to inform project design and assessment.
* Support the development of Measurement, Reporting and Verification (MRV) systems to ensure accurate tracking of carbon emissions.
* Integrate drone, LiDAR and remote sensing datasets into modelling workflows to enhance data accuracy and insights.
* Contribute to internal documentation, scientific publications and stakeholder reporting to communicate project progress and outcomes.
* Help ensure our work meets regulatory standards and withstands third-party audits by applying rigorous quality control measures.
What You'll Bring:
* A degree in mathematics, environmental science, engineering, data science or a related field.
* Experience building models/simulations to support complex decision-making.
* Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in Python, R, MATLAB or similar programming languages.
* Experience with geospatial data or remote sensing is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills to translate complexity into clarity and collaborate effectively with team members.
* A collaborative, curious mindset and a drive for impact to make a meaningful contribution to climate policy and practice.
