Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Officer to join our team at a part-time basis. This role will involve delivering reactive and proactive maintenance tasks around the village, including building and garden maintenance, ensuring a homely environment for residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* General maintenance and handyman tasks around the village
* Identifying, managing and resolving defects in the village
* Maintaining all garden areas, ensuring they are well kept
* Supervising and coordinating external contractors in servicing the village
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A trade qualification and/or demonstrated extensive experience in general maintenance and gardening
* Knowledge of and commitment to WHS responsibilities
* First Aid Certificate and Current Driver's License
* Excellent people skills and empathy for older people living in residential care and retirement village settings
