Job Overview
Operate and manage water and wastewater treatment plants to deliver safe drinking water and compliant treated effluent. Ensure efficient operations, maintenance, and management of day-to-day activities to meet the company's objectives.
* Monitor and analyze water quality, optimize plant performance, and perform process sampling and jar testing as necessary.
* Perform instrument calibrations, provide calibration reports, and maintain accurate records.
* Conduct daily housekeeping at assigned treatment plant sites and ensure site security.
* Access, monitor, and perform SCADA operations to prevent plant downtime and respond to alarms promptly.
* Operate water and wastewater treatment plants according to established manuals and guidelines.
* Perform basic maintenance activities on dosing pumps, pipework, valves, and other mechanical devices as required.

* Ensure adherence to safety procedures and protocols to protect stakeholders.
* Maintain a risk management culture and contribute to minimizing risks associated with project activities.
* Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and promote health, safety, and environmental awareness across the team.
* Participate in the implementation of strategies to achieve project targets and meet client requirements.
* Collaborate with senior operators and duty managers to identify and mitigate operational and commercial risks.
Requirements:
* Strong understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes and equipment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
* Proven ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
Working Conditions:
