Lead a world‑class team delivering high‑quality teaching, research, and engagement. Shape the School’s next strategic phase, ensuring alignment with UQ’s vision and values. Champion equity, diversity, and inclusion, with a strong commitment to First Nations engagement. Build and strengthen partnerships with alumni, government, industry, and community stakeholders. Inspire a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement. Qualifications
PhD in a relevant human movement or nutrition science discipline. Internationally recognised track record of research excellence and a strong teaching portfolio, including a substantial publication record in high‑quality journals. Proven ability to secure competitive research funding and effective HDR supervision. Values‑driven leader with strategic capability, emotional intelligence, and capacity to unite and inspire diverse teams. Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture and lead with cultural awareness, demonstrating a strong understanding of the historical, social, and political contexts impacting First Nations peoples. Strong external engagement skills, with a proven ability to build productive relationships across industry, government, and professional bodies. Application Process
