ABOUT THE ROLE
As we expand our portfolio in Melbourne, we are seeking a dedicated Contracts Administrator to assist the Project Manager in the safe, coordinated and successful delivery of projects to achieve project financial targets, in accordance with The ADCO Way.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Contribute to production of the documents and plans that govern the project delivery.
* Compile accurate scopes of work for subcontracts.
* Review and approve subcontractor plans for compliance with project plans and Specifications.
* Ensure subcontract and supply agreements are in line with project and company contractual and legal requirements.
* Administer the project management, change, and control processes in compliance with the project plans, contractual and legal conditions, time bars and administrative timeframes.
* Ensure the proper and accurate use of Jobpac in administering the project.
ABOUT YOU
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Building, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar.
* Solid experience working as a Contracts Administrator on large commercial / residential new builds.
* Understanding of commercial and legal issues pertaining to head contracts.
* A working knowledge of major building trades.
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
* Strong experience in tender processes and trade procurement.
* Financial understanding and knowledge of construction costs.
