 
        
        The role of City Assets Manager is a key senior position and reports directly to the Director of Asset Management. The primary function is to coordinate activities within the Asset Management Division, relating to Civil and Built Infrastructure, Open Space, Catchment Planning and Natural Resources.
Key Responsibilities
• Candidates must hold tertiary qualifications in Business Management or equivalent disciplines.
• Strong leadership qualities are required to lead a management team across a broad range of disciplines and service areas.
• Proven skills in strategic planning, asset management and financial management are essential.
• Effective analytical skills including the ability to negotiate complex issues are necessary.
Requirements
• Leadership skills with experience in managing teams and developing strategic plans are required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present concise reports are essential.
• A sound understanding of ISO 9000 accreditation requirements and government processes is necessary.
