The Opportunity:
Due to continued and consistent growth of our company, we are looking for trade qualified Boilermakers to join the team for an immediate start at our Mackay workshop.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Fabricate steel components for mining machinery and other equipment.
- Repair and maintain mining machinery and other plant.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Undertake tasks involving use of measuring equipment and hand tools.
- Undertake welding in accordance with engineering specifications.
- Complete all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required.
About you:
- Certificate III Engineering - Fabrication/Boilermaking
- Boilermakers must be able to weld to AS2980 standards and pass weld test
- Extensive Fabrication and Welding experience
- Ability to read, follow and interpret design drawings & instructions
- Skilled & experienced in a variety of welding processes
- High Risk Work licence covering forklifts preferable but not essential
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Good organisational skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Self-motivated,
