Role Overview
We're seeking a polished and professional Corporate Café Assistant to join our in‐house catering team at a top‐tier Australian law firm. In this role, you'll deliver outstanding customer service in our internal café and assist in the smooth operation of catering services across the firm. This is a full‐time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm, with occasional evening function support.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‐quality food and beverage service in the café and client areas
* Prepare and serve hot beverages with strong barista skills
* Support the catering team during peak periods and events
* Open and close client floor areas as required
* Assist with menu planning and basic administration tasks
* Maintain stock levels for the café and kitchenettes
* Clean and restock staff kitchenettes
* Assist with kitchen duties including dishwashing
* Perform other duties as directed by the Catering Team Leader and Café Co‐ordinator
Skills & Experience
* Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification is desirable
* At least 2 years' experience in hospitality; corporate experience highly regarded
* Strong coffee‐making and hot beverage skills are essential
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Well‐organised and able to work independently
* Flexible and team‐oriented with a can‐do attitude
