The opportunity
The Assistant Principal: Mission and Identity is an integral member of the School Leadership Team with delegated primary responsibility for the Religious Education curriculum and the religious life of the school.
You will work collaboratively as part of the leadership team and have the opportunity to
* lead and support Catholic identity and formation of staff and students
* lead contemporary prayer, rituals and social justice activities which enhance the life of the school community
* engage through dialogue and the Religious Life of the School with the staff, students, parents, the parish and wider community
* lead teachers to develop, implement and evaluate high quality and rigorous teaching and learning, planning and assessment of Religion
* assist with strategic leadership, improvement, innovation and change.

About You
* Aspiring to Principalship and long-term impact in Catholic education.
* Catholic and an active member of a Catholic Sunday Eucharistic community.
* A willingness to work towards or have completed post graduate qualifications in Religious Education, Catholic Educational Leadership or Theology.
* Registration (or eligibility for registration) as a teacher in Queensland.
