About the role
We are currently seeking applications for a Support Worker specialising in Gardening & Home Maintenance. The purpose of this role is to provide gardening and maintenance services to seniors and NDIS customers to help them stay in their own homes longer.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in gardening is required;
- Fantastic customer service skills;
- Providing support and guidance to volunteers of varying skills and abilities;
- A team player;
- Good communication skills are written, interpersonal and verbal;
- Basic computer and paperwork skills;
- A safety-first approach to ensure safety and wellbeing of yourself, clients, and the team;
- Willing and able to keep up with the demands of the physical demands of a gardening role;
- Willing and able to work across other services to spend time with customers (this may include domestic assistance, social support, group activities)
- A Certificate in Horticulture or similar would be an advantage but not essential;

A NDIS Worker Screening Check
Current Drivers Licence
Rights to work in Australia
Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willing to apply)
