Our rotational program offers early career occupational therapists the opportunity to gain experience across acute, sub-acute, and community settings, receive high-quality supervision, and participate in regular professional development. You will be welcomed by peers from all over Australia who now call Hobart home and have access to senior occupational therapists and clinical leads to support your career progression.

Occupational Therapists graduating in 2025, as well as those with several years of experience, are encouraged to apply. If you are within your first year of graduation, you'll also be eligible to join our new Allied Health Graduate Program, which offers interprofessional learning, peer support, and valuable mentoring opportunities.

As a service of over 90 dedicated staff, we are proudly connected to the Royal Hobart Hospital, Tasmania's largest teaching hospital. Details of appointment:

Multiple permanent full-time and part-time day worker positions, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

*Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for twelve months from the publication date, this selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies.

Salary: $73,834 - $111,364 per annum, plus an employer superannuation contribution of 11.5%.

* Salary range is in accordance with the Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022

Salary Packaging:

You'll have access to salary packaging benefits, including living expenses up to $9,010 and $2,650 for meal entertainment each FBT year, plus other benefits if eligible.

* Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum

Benefits available to eligible candidates:

* Relocation assistance may be available
* Fitness Passport—access to 40+ fitness facilities across Tasmania for $13.95/week per person or $25.95 for a family

Successful applicants must meet the essential criteria:

* Tertiary qualification approved by the Occupational Board of Australia
* Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
