The Role
You'll play a key part in delivering complex commercial fit‐out projects, taking ownership from early stages through to completion.
Responsibilities
* Supporting procurement, including scopes of work and assessing variations
* Working closely with the Design Manager to improve buildability and drive efficiency
* Managing design and construction coordination with consultants
* Identifying value engineering opportunities and cost‐saving initiatives
* Preparing and tracking programmes, budgets and progress
* Identifying and mitigating project risks
* Working closely with Supervisors around site logistics, sequencing and subcontractors
* Assisting with project handover, defects and client coordination
* Supporting sustainability targets (e.g. NABERS / Green Star where applicable)
* Experience in a Project Engineer role within commercial construction (fit‐out experience highly regarded)
* Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
* Commercial awareness with the ability to influence outcomes
* Proactive and team‐oriented approach to delivery
* Relevant qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering or similar
