The Role :
We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled ICT Support Technicians to join our Melbourne-based service delivery team. In this role, you will provide high-quality technical support to users, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist with the installation, maintenance, and configuration of IT systems.
The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of hands-on IT support experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide first- and second-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues in a timely manner.
Support end-users with troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and updates.
Manage user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
Assist in system and device imaging, deployment, and patching using standard tools.
Log, track, and resolve service requests in the ticketing system according to SLAs.
Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level support when necessary.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and contribute to knowledge bases.
Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain strong communication with end users.
Comply with company IT policies, procedures, and security guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications :
1–2 years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, or a similar technical role.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365 administration.
Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
Experience with hardware setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Familiarity with ITSM tools or service desk ticketing systems.
Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, ITIL Foundation) are desirable.
