YEAR 1 TEACHER
St Anthony's School, Wanneroo, is a co-educational double stream Catholic school catering for over 440 students from 3 Year Old Kindergarten to Year 6. We aim to develop and encourage Christian values modeled by Jesus, fostering growth of the whole person through our educational program.
This is a maternity leave replacement. We seek an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to work collaboratively with the Leadership Team, staff, students, and parents.
Selection Criteria
1. A clear commitment to the objectives and ethos of Catholic education.
2. Extensive knowledge and experience with the Year 1 SCSA curriculum, integrating the EYLF and NQS into planning and teaching.
3. Experience with the InitiaLit Reading program is advantageous.
4. Proven ability to collaborate with peers to enhance student engagement and learning through effective, differentiated teaching.
5. Ability to work collaboratively to provide optimal opportunities and outcomes for students.
6. Experience with digital technologies to enhance learning and teaching.
7. Understanding of Child Safety, CEWA Child Protection, Mandatory Reporting, and Work Health and Safety principles.
8. Flexibility and excellent time management skills.
9. Provide contact details for a Parish Priest referee.
Qualifications Required
1. Bachelor of Education (ECE preferred).
2. Accreditation to Teach Religious Education or working towards it.
