From responding to emerging situations to offering reassurance to those who need it most, you'll work closely with a committed team whose shared focus is the wellbeing of our community.

* Maintaining a visible and reassuring presence that promotes safety and confidence for patients, visitors and staff.
* Supporting teams through challenging moments using calming communication, risk awareness and positive approaches to behaviour.
* Responding to incidents with sound judgement, helping prevent harm and contributing to investigations that support safer services.
* Identifying and addressing safety concerns, contributing ideas that strengthen security practices and enhance the hospital environment.

Here's What Will Help You Thrive In This Role
* A current Class C driver licence.
* Ability to meet manual handling and shiftwork requirements, including 24/7 rotational shifts.
* Strong communication skills, with confidence using de‐escalation, situational awareness and behavioural insight.
* A patient‐centred approach, built on empathy, professionalism and sound judgement.
You'll stand out if you have training in security operations and/or experience in environments requiring dynamic risk management.
