Australian Ceramics Engineering (ACE) is a market leader in the supply of wear protection systems, providing clients with complete material handling solutions—including design, fabrication and on-site support—across Australia and internationally.
We are seeking a proactive and people-focused Human Resources Advisor to join our growing team. Reporting to the Group Head of Human Resources, this is a hands‐on generalist role with a strong focus on building and embedding consistent HR frameworks, supporting leaders, and driving scalable people practices across the business.
Based at our Canning Vale facility, this role will play a key part in building and embedding scalable HR practices as the business continues to grow and evolve.

What you will do
* Partner closely with leaders to drive consistent and effective people practices, providing both support and challenge where required.
* Act as the first point of escalation for performance, conduct and employee relations matters, providing practical and commercially sound advice.
* Lead the review, development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and frameworks, ensuring alignment and consistency across the business.
* Support the design and rollout of performance management and appraisal processes to drive accountability and performance outcomes.
* Contribute to the standardisation and continuous improvement of HR systems, templates and processes.
* Assist with workforce planning, data and reporting to support strategic decision making.
* In collaboration with the Recruitment Advisor, support recruitment and onboarding activities to ensure a consistent and high‐quality employee experience.
What you will bring
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a generalist HR role, with demonstrated experience building or improving HR frameworks, policies or processes.
* Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation, including Modern Awards and the Fair Work Act.
* Proven ability to partner with leaders and influence outcomes, including managing performance and employee relations matters.
* Experience working in a fast‐paced or growing business, with the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy.
* Strong communication, problem solving and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Experience with Employment Hero or similar HRIS is highly regarded.
