Emergency Veterinarian Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Veterinarian to join our team on a permanent part-time or full-time basis.
This role offers a diverse and dynamic environment where you can expand your knowledge and skills in emergency medicine, critical care, and surgery.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art facility, open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
* Work collaboratively with a team of experienced registrars and specialists in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Dentistry, and Anaesthesia.
* Contribute to the training of DVM students from the University of Melbourne and Greencross Vet Hospital ECC interns.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Extensive experience as an ECC Veterinarian.
* Strong clinical skills, with the ability to handle complex cases that require critical care and multidisciplinary management.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* A passion for teaching and mentoring.
