Graduate Registered Nurse role in Jimboomba at For Purpose Aged Care Australia. Not-for-Profit organisation offering a Graduate Nurse Program and opportunities to contribute to high quality care for residents.

About This Role

We are currently seeking Graduate Registered Nurses to join our developed Graduate Nurse Program at our state-of-the-art Aged Care residence based in Jimboomba. We are looking for people who will strive to maintain and enhance the health and well-being of our residents while offering them dignity, safety, and independence. We offer a supportive environment with dedicated and experienced clinical teams on-site, a graduate nurse program coordinator to guide and support you, and a structured 12-month graduate nurse program covering a range of comprehensive clinical and development orientation models designed to develop and support you in your first year as a graduate nurse.

Responsibilities

- Maintain and enhance the health and well-being of residents, providing dignity, safety, and independence.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team.
- Communicate effectively with residents and their representatives about care plans.
- Engage with Aged Care Quality Standards and contribute to continuous improvement.

Skills & Requirements

- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA
- Less than 12 months of post-registration clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
- Understanding of professional, ethical and legal requirements for Registered Nurses
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of assessments and developing care plans
- Ability to communicate complex care plan needs to residents and representatives
- Understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards
- Organisational and time management skills
- Computer and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
- Available to work Monday to Friday
- Must be eligible to work in Australia
