The position
Due to continual growth, our client is seeking a Field Technician Team Leader to oversee all operations of a team of field based Technicians performing new service installations, maintenance and service calls within the metro area and regional WA.
Role responsibilities
Manage on-site installation, repair, maintenance and testing for all related areas of field operations, including but not limited to, installation and maintenance for fixed wireless customer installs, fixed wireless transmissions site installs, changes to transmission site installs, customer service calls and data centre change.
Oversee all work and duties performed from a team of field Technicians within an allocated area.
Developing effective relationships with all key stakeholders, including all other employees and teams across the wider organisation.
Contribute to team success for the identification, management and control of all OH&S matters.
Conduct regular toolbox talks and 1:1 meetings with Field Technicians.
Initiate incident investigations and management where required.
Producing detailed and accurate reports.
Cooperating with technical teams and sharing information across the organisation.
Making appropriate recommendations and briefing on repairs, diagnostics and equipment specifications.
To be considered
Previous experience as Leading Hand/Supervisor or similar role in a telecommunication company or network service provider preferred/highly regarded.
High level of customer service for clients and stakeholders.
Intermediate computer skills with ability to efficiently use an internal customer management system, ticketing system and Microsoft Suite.
A positive attitude and approach towards work and being a part of a team.
