We're looking for a Student Support Officer to join our operations team, working across two leading online RTOs – Techskill Academy (Building & Construction) and Open Education Academy (Business & Leadership).

This is a full-time, office-based role in Brisbane, supporting students who study entirely online. You'll guide them from enrolment through to completion, making sure they feel supported, confident, and set up for success.

What you'll do and more...

* Welcome new students with onboarding calls and virtual check-ins.
* Handle student enquiries via phone and email (no shift work or heavy face-to-face).
* Guide students through enrolments, LMS navigation, and online submissions.
* Troubleshoot technical or course-related issues, escalating when needed.
* Work closely with trainers, assessors, and sales teams to keep students progressing.
* Maintain compliance standards and accurate student records in our systems.
* Get involved in process improvement projects – testing and supporting automation rollouts.
* Contribute ideas and help shape how we use tech and AI to improve student experience.
* Step into student sales conversations where appropriate, helping students take the next step in their studies.

What we're looking for

* 3+ years' experience in customer service, student support, or education services.
* 2 years in sales OR 1 year of RTO experience (preferred).
* Confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills.
* Tech-savvy and comfortable learning new platforms and AI tools.
* Proactive, adaptable, and eager to contribute beyond the basics.
* Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working across two brands.
* Confident managing student concerns and finding positive solutions.
