Engineering machine shop store Forklift Lic needed Permanent fulltime role. Long term staff. Based in the Braeside area this company is a precision machining and engineering business for various industries such as defence, aerospace, medical and other high end industries. They have 30 staff and have the latest high CNC Machines. They are looking for a all-round stores person with various skills. This is NOT a pick pack position but a position that requires someone that is flexible, adaptable and can work in a strong team environment and can handle working in a engineering store area handling incoming and outgoing including paper work. As the stores person you will be receiving incoming goods, checking goods and invoices, unload goods and check against order forms, place goods in their appropriate places, operate forklifts, package and send out completed orders to customers, use electronic bar coding and entering data into computers. You will also organise raw materials for the machine shop team. You will need a high attention to detail and recent stores experience, forklift licence, and ideally experience within an engineering business or similar. TO APPLY YOU SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS: Experience working in Engineering stores ideal. Forklift Licence ideal. High attention to detail. Incoming and outgoing shipping experience. Computer skills.
