About the role
We are seeking a senior health care leader to join the Calvary team in the role of General Manager at our Calvary Hobart Private Hospitals. Calvary provides two hospitals in Hobart - Calvary Lenah Valley and Calvary St Johns. With a combined 296 inpatient beds, our hospitals provide a range of essential health services to the community including Emergency, Maternity, Theatres, Cardiac Cath Lab, Oncology and Rehabilitation.
Reporting to the Regional CEO for Tasmania, you will bring to the role significant experience in strategic and operational management in an acute health care facility, with solid stakeholder engagement, financial management and business acumen.
Accountable for the operational performance, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of services, ensuring that they are patient and outcome focused, financially sustainable and operating with the highest quality standards.
As a strong people leader you will build a high performing leadership team, who fosters and develops an engaged workforce and positive culture. You are an innovative thinker with a continuous improvement mindset, and a focus on growth and sustainability.
