Job Title: Construction Project Manager
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the successful completion of multiple residential construction projects within a designated area.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills to join our team as a Construction Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with project managers to ensure that construction schedules are followed and projects are completed on time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage the construction activities of multiple residential homes within a designated area, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
* Coordinate with project managers to develop and implement project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
* Supervise and guide a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and tradespeople to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
* Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement corrective measures as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and permits by closely monitoring construction activities and materials used.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to address design-related issues and provide input for construction modifications or improvements.
* Manage and monitor the delivery of construction materials and equipment to the site, ensuring availability as per project requirements.
* Keep accurate records of daily activities, including work progress, manpower, and material usage, and report to project managers.
* Facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project execution.
* Resolve any conflicts or disputes that may arise during construction, implementing appropriate solutions and maintaining positive working relationships.
* Maintain a safe and organized work environment, enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety meetings and training sessions.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3 years experience working in a home builder managing high volume projects as a Supervisor or Project Manager.
* Hands-on detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Candidates MUST have either a Cert III Carpentry OR Bricklaying AND a Cert IV in Building and Construction OR if no trade background candidates MUST have a Builder's license OR Supervisor's license.
* The successful candidate will be well-presented, with excellent communication skills, IT savvy, and process-oriented.
