Account Executive – Commercial SME Broking
Perth
An established insurance brokerage in Perth is seeking an Account Executive with strong SME commercial broking experience to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage a well-established portfolio while working in a collaborative environment alongside an experienced broker.
You will be responsible for managing a diverse SME client portfolio generating approximately $500k–$600k in income across around 500 clients, delivering high-quality service, renewal management, and broking advice across a range of commercial insurance products.
The Role
* Manage and service a portfolio of SME commercial clients
* Handle renewals, endorsements, and day-to-day broking advice
* Develop strong relationships with clients and insurers
* Identify opportunities for cross‐selling and portfolio growth
* Work closely with another Account Executive in the team
* Ensure all broking activities are compliant and well documented
Portfolio
* Approx. $500k–$600k in portfolio income
* Around 500 SME clients
* Wide range of commercial risks including Business Package, Property, Liability and related SME covers
Systems Experience with the following platforms would be beneficial:
* Winbeat
* SCTP
* Organise IT
About You
* Previous experience working as an Account Executive or Senior Account Manager in commercial broking
* Strong knowledge of SME commercial insurance products
* Ability to manage a high-volume SME portfolio efficiently
* Strong relationship management and communication skills
* Tier 1 qualified (or equivalent)
