THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a People & Culture Advisor to join our friendly and passionate team in a full-time role, based out of either our Ipswich or Seventeen Mile Rocks office.
The People and Culture Advisor plays a key role in delivering practical, people-centred HR support across the employee lifecycle. Working closely with leaders and the broader People and Culture team, this role will focus on recruitment as well as provid advice on employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, and policy interpretation, while supporting organisational initiatives that strengthen culture, capability and engagement. The role balances operational HR delivery with continuous improvement, ensuring practices are compliant with relevant legislation and aligned to our values and strategic priorities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for:
* Supporting end-to-end recruitment, onboarding and broader employee lifecycle processes
* Providing administrative and advisory support to ensure compliance with industrial relations legislation and applicable Awards
* Contributing to staff wellbeing and safety initiatives, including providing support during sensitive or complex situations
* Reviewing and maintaining People & Culture policies, procedures and guidelines
* Maintaining accurate employee data, records and reporting in HR systems
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
* Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources role (minimum 12 months), with knowledge of the SCHADS Award highly regarded
* A qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline, or currently working towards one
* Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
* Well-developed interpersonal skills, with confidence engaging across all levels of the organisation
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to different audiences
* Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professional discretion
* Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
* Solutions-focused mindset with sound problem-solving capability
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
* Exposure to WHS in a community or human services environment is desirable

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Successful applicants must hold, or be willing to obtain prior to commencement:
* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card / WWCC)
* Current NDIS Screening Check (Yellow Card)
* Current Australian National Criminal History Check (within the last 12 months)
* LCS2 Clearance (or willingness to apply upon commencement)
* Current First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willingness to obtain within four weeks)
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
