Details: The Treasury stream of the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate (CMTEDD) seeks Expressions of Interest to temporarily fill the Executive Officer position in the Office of the Deputy Under Treasurer.
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Executive Officer to provide high-level strategic support to the Deputy Under Treasurer, working with the Executive Assistant. You will play a key role in working closely with the executive and teams across Treasury and other directorates, Ministers’ Offices, and other key stakeholders.

Eligibility/Other requirements:
* Understanding of ACT Budget and Government processes will be highly regarded.
* Prior experience in providing strategic and organisational support to an executive level position will be highly regarded.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately until 10 July 2026 with the possibility of extension up to six months. Selection may be based on applications and/or referee reports only. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. This position has moved to a new workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk. ACT Treasury supports flexible working arrangements and notes that during peak operational periods applicants may be required to work in the office and understand the role may involve regular weekend or after hours work during peak budget periods.
