About the company
The Landscape Construction Company (TLCC) is highly successful and respected within the landscaping industry in South East Queensland. TLCC is renowned for high quality work delivered on schedule.
Due to new projects won by TLCC, we are looking for an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to lead our Inner City suburbs team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Lead 1- 2 Maintenance Technicians.
* Mow, edge and fertilize lawns.
* Weeding and mulching.
* Trimming of hedges, shrubs and small trees.
* Remove dead, damaged or unwanted trees and plants.
* Plant tube stock, plants and trees.
* Water lawns, landscapes and gardens as required.
* Understanding of basic Irrigation controllers and minor repairs.
Competencies/Qualifications:
* Minimum 3 years experience working as a Team Leader/Supervisor in the landscape maintenance sector.
* MR Licence (preferred but not mandatory).
* Certificate III in Parks & Gardens (desirable).
* First Aid/CPR Certified (current).
* Have previous experience in a Supervisory role, strong work ethic & an effective communicator.
* ACDC Licence.
* Experience using zero-turn mowers.
* Excellent eye for detail.
