Youth Counsellor Position
About this role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Youth Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work with young people aged 12 to 25 years and their families and friends to develop collaborative care plans and deliver therapeutic interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing individual care plans and delivering brief to medium-term therapeutic interventions to young people and their support networks.
* Working collaboratively with other clinicians to plan and develop services for young people experiencing mental health concerns.
* Providing evidence-based psychological interventions and contributing to quality assurance processes, professional development meetings, and community partnerships.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A relevant healthcare qualification (e.g., Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, Social Work, Counselling) with registration or eligibility.
* Demonstrated expertise in routine clinical practice, including comprehensive knowledge of profession-specific skills and experience in providing evidence-based therapies.
