Key Responsibilities
* Oversight of day-to-day financial operations.
* Review and revision of month-end reporting processes, GL reconciliations and preparation of the financial reporting pack for the Board of Directors.
* Payroll reporting and compliance review.
* Tax compliance lodgement preparation.
* Statutory reporting process under Australian Accounting Standards for multiple entities, liaison with auditors.
* Maintenance of financial requirements for AFSL and other regulatory bodies (including RG166 reporting).
* Budgeting and forecasting analysis development assistance.
* Maintenance of up-to-date knowledge of new or proposed accounting standards and ASIC regulatory requirements.
Requirements
* A collaborative Finance Manager who can adapt in a changing environment.
* Qualified CA/CPA with a relevant tertiary degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar finance/accounting role.
* Proven experience with complex reconciliations.
* Commercially oriented, insightful and illustrates curiosity.
* Effective communicator able to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Proficient in financial management systems and advanced Excel skills.
