The Role
We are seeking an experienced Lift Service Technician to join our Melbourne-based Service Team. Reporting to the Maintenance Coordinator, you will take ownership of a scheduled maintenance run and be responsible for servicing, repairs and breakdown response across a range of lift systems including hydraulic, MRL and platform lifts. You will work on our own products as well as a variety of third-party equipment.
This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in clean, compliant work, communicates well with customers, and can fault-find confidently to reduce repeat callouts.

Key Responsibilities
· Plan and execute your workload effectively in coordination with the Maintenance Coordinator
· Perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, breakdown response and call-out visits with care and attention to detail
· Diagnose faults, troubleshoot equipment and complete inspections and diagnostic testing to ensure reliability and performance
· Complete all work to manufacturer specifications, Australian Standards and regulatory requirements
· Maintain strict compliance with WHS policies and maintain safe operating conditions at all times
· Maintain a safe, tidy and professional worksite, with strong care and respect in customers' homes and workplaces
· Communicate professionally with customers, keeping them informed and providing practical guidance on lift operation and care
· Accurately document work completed, including maintenance logs, breakdown reports, repair reports and emails, in clear language that non-technical customers and internal staff can understand
· Monitor your calendar daily for schedule updates and upcoming work
· Contribute to continuous improvement by helping refine workflows and service processes
What We're Looking For
Qualifications (essential)
· Australian Electrical A-Grade Licence
· Construction White Card
· Current manual Driver's Licence
· Full working rights in Australia (citizen or permanent resident)
Experience and technical capability
· Minimum 5 years' experience as a lift technician (service and repairs focused preferred)
· Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
· Experience with hydraulic and traction drive systems (MRL and hydraulic)
· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
· Confidence with PLCs, microprocessors and VF drives is highly regarded
