About the team
Our manufacturing team are an essential part of turning raw materials into products ready for customers. We have a strong focus on team member safety, quality and continuous improvement whilst ensuring that customers' security of supply, quality, availability of product and value for money expectations are met. You'll work alongside a diverse group of individuals with different backgrounds, cultures, personalities, and beliefs, much like the communities we serve.
About the Role
Our Vic facility processes and packages over 1.2 million litres of milk every week in a highly automated environment and we need a strong leader to keep our equipment running at peak performance. As the site’s Reliability Lead, you’ll be in charge of leading the maintenance team, ensuring maintenance compliance for the site and the reliability of our highly automated facility. This office role based on site with elements of field inspections and work supervision or coordination. On site in a shared office is the site’s Maintenance Planner to support you and the maintenance team.
You’ll manage :
- 5 direct reports (2 Electricians and 3 Fitters)
- 30+ external contractors for periodic maintenance
- Implementation of the Reliability Strategy
- Implementation of reliability and asset care strategies
This is a critical leadership role where you’ll need to balance and manage many functions and priorities including; team skills and engagement, safety systems and compliance, asset management, financial management, site and business stakeholder relationships, contractor management and supplier management.
About You and Your Skills
We’re looking for someone who brings :
- Manufacturing experience in a highly automated environment (FMCG preferred)
- Proven ability to lead trades and technical teams in a supervisory capacity
- Strong technical knowledge - preferably in the electrical or automation space, mechanical space acceptable too.
- Expertise in Asset Management and RootCause Analysis
- A safety-first mindset and experience managing contractors and high risk work.
