JOB DESCRIPTION We are looking for an experienced regulatory matters leader to join the Office of General Counsel (OGC) team. As a member of the team, you will contribute to all aspects of regulatory matters (including regulatory inquiries and investigations) in a supportive and dynamic team environment. You will also work directly with all levels of the business in responding to regulatory matters, advising on regulatory requirements and statutory obligations and responding to issues in real-time. As a senior member of the OGC team and the Regulatory Matters leader, your impact will be seen by: Supporting strong and transparent relationships with regulators Responding to regulatory requests and investigations cooperatively Assisting with the review, legal analysis and preparation of advice to our business clients on a variety of matters while working closely with the organisation's risk and compliance teams Providing focused and pragmatic solutions to address legal risk and business problems Working as an effective conduit between the business and regulators to clearly and effectively explain the regulatory purpose of certain actions.and ensure issues are fully explored and considered About You: Proven experience and track record in developing cooperative and transparent regulatory relationships You will be familiar with the practices and processes of the various regulators applicable to our businesses and assist with providing the businesses with education on these processes to drive alignment and resolutions where needed You will have excellent listening skills and will respond appropriately to feedback from regulators and stakeholders You have experience and confidence in dealing with and assisting senior management (both in written and verbal communications), including an ability to draft clear and precise legal documents and communications You have excellent interpersonal and commercial skills, as well as an ability to build relationships and influence with impact You can identify and consider critical issues and assess and articulate legal risks (including likelihood and impact) so the business can make informed, risk-based commercial decisions It's time to move forward.
