Job Title
A seasoned SAP Basis Senior Consultant is required to lead a high-performance team and drive strategic SAP technology initiatives. This role demands a deep understanding of SAP architecture, extensive hands-on experience, and a proven track record of executing complex SAP projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Guide clients in their SAP strategy, providing expert advice on system architecture, security, and performance optimization.
* Design and architect complex SAP systems, considering future growth and technological advancements.
* Lead large-scale SAP Basis projects from conception through to delivery, managing cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
* Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in SAP technology, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP Basis environment.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with SAP implementations, upgrades, and migrations.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with SAP technology vendors and partners to ensure optimal use of resources and cutting-edge solutions.
* Mentor junior consultants, share knowledge, and contribute to their professional development.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into SAP technology solutions.
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality SAP solutions by implementing robust quality assurance processes and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience and/or a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
* Extensive experience as an SAP Basis Consultant, with a strong focus on SAP ECC, SAP HANA, and/or SAP S/4HANA.
* In-depth understanding of SAP Basis administration, including system monitoring, performance tuning, security management, and backup/recovery procedures.
* Deep knowledge of SAP NetWeaver, SAP Solution Manager, and other related technologies.
* Proven expertise in SAP HANA Administration and Database Management Systems.
* Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think tactically and strategically.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines under pressure.
* Proven track record of leading and delivering complex SAP projects, achieving client satisfaction, and driving business value.
* Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
