Human Resources and Safety Professional

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources and Safety professional to join our Human Resources and Safety Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with leaders and employees across the organisation to provide proactive and responsive advice on all people matters, including employment conditions, compliance, employee relations, organisational development, policies, organisational directives and procedures.
* Provide support and accurate consistent HR information to relevant management and employees on the full range of employment functions including recruitment, engagement, employee benefits, retention, employment relations and professional development;
* Develop an effective business partnership with key stakeholders and partner with department leaders to understand their business requirements, identify trends, develop solutions and strategies to meet their long-term operational requirements;
* Coordinate and participate in corporate induction processes for all employees and contractors, and provide other in-house HR related training and workshops to assist organisational understanding of HR requirements where appropriate;
* Interpret and assist to draft HR policies, programs and practices to ensure alignment with relevant legislation to mitigate risk and support best practice compliance;
* Manage the HR and Recruitment queries via inboxes and provide immediate and accurate feedback on all HR processes, procedures and initiatives;
* Provide sound advice on compliance across all aspects of the employment relationship;
* Manage and resolve employee relations matters fairly and efficiently, referring them to Senior HR Partners as appropriate;
* Maintain relevant human resources records, information and databases and provide accurate human resource reports and analytics for management to make decisions and raise issues and concerns;
* Leverage technology to streamline efficiency and enhance employee experience and work practices;
* Conduct and report results on internal employee surveys;
* Keep all position descriptions up to date, relevant and in line with organisational requirements, seek input and approval from managers and directors;
* Complete all performance development review processes in your area of business, identify skills gaps and recommend workforce solutions that meet the organisation's strategic and operational needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a qualification in Human Resources, Employment Law or other relevant discipline, and a current unrestricted driver's licence.
Part-time options will be considered for the right candidate, provided the role responsibilities can be fully met.
