What you'll be doing?
- Quality Assurance: Design and execute manual test cases for functional, regression, and exploratory testing, ensuring top-notch software quality.
- API Testing: Utilize tools like Postman to thoroughly test APIs and integrations, maintaining seamless functionality across systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with developers and product managers to define clear acceptance criteria, fostering a culture of quality.
- Defect Management: Log, track, and verify defects, providing insightful feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- Documentation: Build and maintain comprehensive QA documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports.
- Test Automation: Evaluate and introduce test frameworks and automation tools, enhancing efficiency and coverage.
- Performance Testing: Contribute to performance and load testing efforts, supporting the scalability of Paperly's solutions.
- Best Practices: Share knowledge and establish QA best practices, elevating the entire team's quality standards.
- CI/CD Integration: Set up automated testing in CI/CD pipelines, streamlining the development process over time.
Who are they looking for?
- QA Experience: You have 3+ years in a QA/Test Analyst role, with a strong background in manual testing and meticulous attention to detail.
- Test Planning: You're skilled in writing and executing structured test cases and plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
- Tool Proficiency: You're familiar with bug tracking and collaboration tools like Jira and Azure DevOps, facilitating smooth team communication.
- Communication Skills: You're an excellent communicator who thrives in distributed team environments, fostering collaboration across distances.
- Automation Bonus: Experience with test automation frameworks like Cypress or Playwright is a plus, but not required.
- Tech Stack Familiarity: Knowledge of PHP Laravel, Gitlab, or AWS is beneficial but not essential.
- Performance Testing: Exposure to performance/load testing is advantageous but not mandatory.
- CI/CD Knowledge: Understanding of CI/CD practices is a plus, supporting our continuous improvement efforts.
