HR Truck Driver – Skip & Hook Bin Driver

$35.00 per hour + applicable industry allowance
Monday to Friday | 7:00am – 4:00pm
Newport Recycling is an established and steadily growing North Queensland recycling operation with a strong local customer base and consistent workflow.
Due to continued demand for our services, we are seeking a dependable HR licensed driver for full-time local skip and hook bin work.
This is structured, Monday–Friday work. No interstate runs. No overnight stays. Consistent daily routes within the Cairns region.
The Role
* Delivery and collection of skip and hook bins
* Primarily local Cairns runs
* Occasional regional runs to Mareeba, Atherton and Innisfail (approximately a few times per month)
* Completion of run sheets and paperwork accurately
* Daily pre-start checks
* Working efficiently to complete allocated runs
* Professional interaction with customers
Hours
* 7:00am to 4:00pm
* 30-minute unpaid lunch break
* 15-minute paid rest break
Overtime paid in accordance with the relevant award.

About You
You will:
* Hold a current HR licence
* Have a safe driving record
* Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality
* Be capable of working independently
* Take pride in productivity and vehicle care
* Be physically capable of performing the inherent requirements of the role
Experience with skip or hook trucks is preferred but not essential.
