About the role
We have an opportunity for aCommunications Officerto be part of our Communications, Client Engagement, Technology and Communication Services Team. The Communications Officer provides specialist, high quality design support in the development and coordination of communications strategies to promote priorities of the command.
A typical day could involve using Adobe Creative Cloud to deliver a wide range of creative services across graphic design, publishing, photography, and videography. This includes developing visual assets such as screensavers, digital signage, roll-up banners, and various project-based graphics. Desktop publishing tasks often involve designing internal newsletters, award booklets, and other formatted documents.
Photography work may include capturing award ceremonies, producing corporate headshots, and creating marketing imagery that reflects the organisation's brand. Videography responsibilities extend to filming events or promotional content, followed by editing footage into polished deliverables.
Due to the specialised nature of the role and the specific hardware and software requirements, this position is required to be performed on-site five days per week.
