About the role
We're seeking
skilled, compassionate, and adaptable Registered Nurses
to join ACT Health on a
three-year contract
.
You'll play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes across inpatient and community settings.
Key responsibilities
Rapidly assess and triage patients presenting with acute and complex conditions
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based emergency care in a fast-paced environment
Administer medications, initiate IV therapy, and manage life-saving interventions
Respond to trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and other critical emergencies
Collaborate with physicians, paramedics, and multidisciplinary teams to stabilise patients
Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in real time
Support patients and families during high-stress situations with empathy and clear communication
Maintain compliance with emergency protocols, infection control, and hospital safety standards
What ACT Health offers
Competitive salary:
AUD $72,000 – $87,000 depending on experience

Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
AHRPA registration
(Espirita can support your AHRPA registration journey)
English proficiency
(certification or native fluency)
Minimum
24 months of recent acute care experience
Willingness to relocate to Canberra for a minimum of
3 years
